Devi Bhava

at the suggestion of Tina during her show, I went to the East Bay w/ Dan to check out something referred to as "Amma"
















There were a lot of "spiritual hippy" types there.
















And we were served a nice dinner.



















So Amma is a person. aka Mata Amritanandamayi is Hindu spiritual leader who is also known as "The Hugging Saint." She hugs you (Darshan - meaning "sight" or "vision") and removes your sorrows. She is close to have hugged 30 million people. During Devi Bhava, she takes the form of the Goddess Devi to provide extra healing powers. It was a pretty cool experience and the people there were all super nice. Although I couldn't help thinking of this. I'm doomed to rot in hell.
