gettin' wigi with it

WIGI - women in games international
Fort Mason, San Francisco

The question was why go to a game conference for women? Well simply to get the woman's point of view. It not often I get to hear conversation about the impact women make upon gaming so this was a pretty unique opportunity to hear a lot about the female counterpart from a lot of female counterparts. I think I learned a few things to be more mindful of in my designs.

Funny. I don't think I would have had this picture taken if I didn't blog. It's not like me to pose with girls but just for the blog... Frag Dolls Ashley, Kat, Morgan, and Emily. I met Morgan a while ago at an ARG presentation IGDA hosted so it wasn't like taking pictures with strangers. It's funny because it seems silly to do so otherwise but it seems so natural for a blog. anyhoo, it's a conference. Oh yeah! Conferences have CATERING!!!

Monthly earnings?

From -$40 to +$160. About a $200 turn around and possible Shaba poker record! I do feel bad taking money from friends however. =(

idiots say "what?"

Some idiot hit my car this morning with his van. Turned right into me. Didn't look while turning. It was just a scratch but Christ, #$%*ing Chinese tourists. They had no clue I understood everything they were saying. Although they didn't really say anything out of the ordinary.
