Tuesday Food

The Creme of Mushroom from Chou Chou was probably still on my mind. Creme of Mushroom Penne.

Toons

Finished watching the 2 seasons of the American cartoon Avatar the Last Airbender. and I got to say I like this series a lot. 1) They have a beginning, middle, and end planned out and aren't looking to draw out the series like many American serials do. 2) They are taking time to develop their characters whereas many Japanese Anime's take 3 times as long to develop characters 1/2 as much. 3) Surprisingly good animation. They'll spend extra time on little details or like on gags 4) Gags. They have several in each episode. I find myself laughing out loud at all the crazy and universally appealing jokes they have. 5) Cool action. Honestly, they "stole" a bunch of my ideas. Oh well. I'll be ordering me some box sets in the future.

Panas Pride

Assortments from Tasty Curry on 9th Avenue.

Me with my former classmate, alumni, and Panas Player, Stephanie. So Stephanie is the first person that I went to high school with that I've seen this century. Technically I've seen Tina but she was there for just 6 months so Steph is the first... well full time schoolmate. It was nice seeing an distantly familiar face in person. Only here for a year and we agree, "Pizza is better in New York." Although I'm kinda glad I've finally found some decent pizza places here in the city. That and she said west coasters are nicer because they tend to get into pissing contests less; something I didn't really notice or remember noticing out east. I guess if you said who is more likely to say "what the hell are you looking at?" I would have to pick the east coaster over the west coaster. So anyways, no I never had Panas Pride. It's good to know Panas is considered something like in the top 200 of US high schools, but I feel like there was so much wasted potential in those years. It didn't really prepare me for much of anything other than skipping classes, weaseling my way to the band room, and how to fake book reports. There were definitely some good teachers but as a whole, that didn't make up for what school could have been. Oh well!

Jourth of Fuly

I did much of nothing for the fourth of july. I finished watching the Deathnote anime series. The story has lots of cool writing but the ending was rather disappointing. Throughout the series, the two main characters are trying to outsmart each other but in the end, it's so half-assed. You'd think someone so smart and clever in the beginning of the series wouldn't suddenly be so dumb!

oh well! I enjoyed the rest of it.

1 Year

Post # 365. One year's worth of blogging. I like blogging. Mostly because I don't ever remember what happens in my past. It's sort of like a mess of random and partial memories but a blog is a like a gigantic zip archive. Well I tend to think of memories like zip files. They are stored away and when you need to access archives, you unzip the information. Without these zips, you're just trying to access information that's randomly stored in your brain. Oh well. Here is some randomly stored pasta. Or rather random pasta not so randomly stored in my stomach.

What blows your mind?

Does a tornado going into a rainbow blow your mind?

How about a herd of 800 elephants?

This blows my mind! The New York Rangers signed 2 of 3 top free agents on the opening day of unrestricted free agent day in the NHL. Both to staggering contracts. I don't know if this is terribly awesome or terribly bad. It just blows my mind. :-O

Before my mind was blown I guess I made some food? I don't know anymore. They were on my camera so I supposed they happened...
