geeking out!

Thursday night / Friday morning was a day of geeking at TFB. We played the World of Warcraft table top board game which Guy had recently picked up. Evil was the victor! It was fun but I think in the end we were up entirely too late doing a PvP.

Got a car tape adapter for my ipod at the Apple store and then went to see underworld 2 at the Kabuki with the guys. About what I expected, a fun brainless action flick. Nothing special, unless we are talking about Kate Beckinsale in leather. ;)

Finally opened my Xbox 360

NRM

Night of NRM (nio ro mien / beef noodles). Tried a new ingredient of butternut squash. Didn't add much. Maybe a bit sweet but I think I did put a lot of carrots in this time. Portabello mushroom was not part of the NRM.

Dance like it's 80s Night!

Went out last night to New Wave City at the DNA Lounge. Jimmy is a regular there and got a bunch of us to go and dance. He's quite an amusing dancer and add his wavy mohawk it's no wonder the ladies love him. Pictures from Chris (to follow?)

Turned out to be a fun night.

Made lunch with Deda today.
We had risotto and dishes I can neither pronounce nor spell. nor remember their names! Some sorts of delicious cream of asparagus thing. I tried to make this eggplant, tomato, and cheese thing i did a long time ago and Deda gave me some suggestions as to how to improve the making of; cheese selection. also this eggplant layered thing... layered with red sauce and cheeses.
